The 2024 Tour Map

STUDIO TOUR GUIDELINES

▪Self guided tour of public & private art studios & galleries, helping local artists market their work

▪Showcases fine art and fine craft in a broad range of media

▪Contributes to public awareness about the visual art being created on Long Beach Island and offers visitors a unique opportunity to view and purchase a range of work by individual artists

▪Generates a greater understanding of the creative process and gives the public a chance to explore how, where, and why art is made

▪Tour event is solely for Working Artists, who actively exhibit and produce work

▪Artists exhibiting at galleries/businesses please consider a “studio experience” that demonstrates the artist’s process which contributes to the success of this event.

▪Artists must have at least 15 pieces of recent, original artwork to display at studio location.

▪Gallery/business and studios must be located on Long Beach Island.

▪Artists work will only be advertised as exhibiting in one gallery/business location only

▪Artists in the Tour must be present at your studio/gallery/business all day during event hours (August 10-11, 2024).

▪Participants who prefer to be open on ONE day only may do so on Saturday August 10 and will be designated as such in printed media and on website.

▪Groups of artists exhibiting at your gallery/business are required to individually pay the application in order to participate

▪All participants agree to help promote, develop, and market the Open Studio Tour
