Watercolor Painting

Mikkey has drawn and painted since childhood. She has a degree in art education and has taught art, grades K-12, as well as adult classes.
Mikkey began the study of watercolor in 1998. Her painting reflect her love of fine drawing and the subtlecolor changes that appear with direct lighting. Old and mundane objects, everyday working moments, flowers, and animals. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her paintings. Mikkey has also been exploring weaving with watercolor paintings.
An elected member of the New Jersy Watercolor Society and the Garden State Watercolor Society, Mikkey is an exhibiting member of the Guild of Art at Shrewsbury, the Pine Shores Art Association, and Watercolorists Unlimited of Princeton.
