High Bar Harbor - Studio at the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences
I am drawn to clear-cut geometric simplicity. I have chosen to live in the city because I am particularly fond of its buildings. The minimal forms reflect a straightforward urban sensibility. I try to avoid anything that distracts from the forms aiming to strip away as much as possible.
Studio Experience
Visitors to the studio can watch as I work on the wheel as well as try their hand at it under the guidance of one of the LBIF ceramics instructors. They can also tour the studios, kiln room, glaze porch and see the raku kiln.
